Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fish Market Manager (Seasonal) to lead our vibrant seafood retail operation during peak seasons. In this role, you will oversee daily market activities, manage inventory, ensure exceptional customer service, and supervise staff to deliver a fresh and engaging shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the fish market, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer interactions
- Manage inventory control, including purchasing, stock rotation, and pricing strategies to maximize freshness and profitability
- Supervise staff shifts, provide training on product knowledge, customer service, POS systems, and safety procedures
- Oversee cashiering duties, cash handling, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions and financial reporting
- Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations throughout the market
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing potential team members, and supporting their ongoing development
Pay scales on experience. $25-$35 per hour
