Seafood Market Counter Help
We’re looking for someone to join our seafood market team. This is an entry-level position, but experience with food handling or working in a kitchen/market is a plus and will scale the pay.
You’ll be working directly with customers at the counter—taking orders, cutting and weighing fish, handling checkout, and helping keep the market clean and stocked. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role, so being comfortable on your feet and working with others is important.
Pay scales on experience. $14–$18/hour tips

What You’ll Do
- Help customers at the counter—take orders, answer questions, and make recommendations
- Cut, portion, and weigh fish and other seafood
- Package orders properly and label them correctly
- Run the register and handle payments
- Keep the counter, work area, and equipment clean and organized
- Restock the display case and keep it looking fresh throughout the day
- Help receive deliveries and put product away
- Pitch in with basic prep work as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and reliable—good with customers
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Some experience with food prep, kitchens, or markets is helpful
- Knife skills or experience cutting fish/meat is a plus (but not required)
- Basic understanding of food safety is preferred
