Position Overview
Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vice President, Equity Plan Manager to join our Partnership Team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and oversight of the firm’s public equity compensation programs, ensuring accurate execution, regulatory compliance, and exceptional support for plan participants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background in equity administration, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and with our third-party administrators. This position is well-suited for an equity professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, values precision, and enjoys both hands-on program management and cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Program Administration & Operations
- Administer all aspects of the firm’s equity programs, including restricted stock units (RSUs) and other equity-based awards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grants, vesting schedules, adjustments, and releases.
- Partner with external vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant plan execution and reporting.
- Support major plan events such as new grant issuances, dividend processing, and release cycles.
- Provide high-quality support to participants, resolving inquiries and escalations efficiently and professionally.
Audit, Compliance & Reporting
- Conduct regular reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy of plan data and compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, and Audit teams to support equity accounting, reporting, and disclosure requirements.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
- Identify potential process improvements and contribute to ongoing risk management efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- 3–5 years of experience in equity compensation, equity operations, or related financial administration.
- Strong working knowledge of equity plan administration systems; experience with Shareworks is highly preferred.
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level I certification preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data accuracy and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, collaborative demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and support process improvements.
