Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Technology and IP Counsel, this role supports the company’s intellectual property portfolio by managing trademark and domain name activities, ensuring accurate filings, timely follow‑up, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and file trademark applications and related documents; track and follow up on prosecution activity
- Conduct domain name research and assist with domain name registrations and renewals
- Monitor, manage, and maintain trademark and domain name deadlines using appropriate docketing systems
- Maintain accurate trademark and domain name records and databases
- Prepare reports and provide status updates related to trademark and domain portfolios
- Coordinate and communicate with external counsel and internal clients regarding trademark and domain matters
- Perform additional administrative and IP-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills are critical
- Ability to act on detailed instructions, remain highly organized, and demonstrate good judgment
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with the USPTO trademark filing interface is required
- Experience with CPI or other IP docketing and maintenance systems for trademarks and domain names is a plus
Educational Qualifications:
- Successful candidates should have a Paralegal Certification, Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated relevant work experience. If you are a law school student, you should have completed at least two (2) full years of law school.
Salary: $80,000 - $105,000k base
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
