Responsibilities:
As a Handyman for Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, you will be an integral part of our Facilities team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our office spaces. Your role will involve performing a variety of tasks, from electrical repairs to carpentry work and general facility upkeep. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including light bulb replacements, wiring, and circuit breaker/fuse issues.
- Execute carpentry and general construction tasks such as woodwork, sanding, and painting.
- Handle general plumbing issues, including toilet and faucet repairs, and fixing leaks.
- Conduct facility repairs, including door and doorknob maintenance, lock repairs, and fixing broken tiles or floors.
- Move furniture and equipment as needed, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Learn new tasks and procedures to adapt to the evolving needs of the company.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any significant issues or repairs.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of necessary repair materials.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and provide regular updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Handyman or in a related field.
- Knowledge of cleaning solutions and materials, ensuring a hygienic work environment.
- Well-versed in various repair and maintenance techniques, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills to understand instructions and communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime and flexible shifts to meet operational needs.

Salary: $55,000 - $64,400k base
The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
