Senior Claims Specialist – General Liability & Auto (Multi-State)
Remote | Third Party Administrator (TPA)
A growing and stable Third Party Administrator is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist with deep experience in General Liability and Auto Liability claims handling. This role is ideal for a highly skilled adjuster who thrives in a litigation-heavy environment and is confident managing complex, high-exposure claims from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of complex Auto (PD & BI) and General Liability (PD & BI) claims, including litigated matters
- Manage claims involving premises liability, slip & falls, habitability issues, mold, and bedbug exposures
- Lead investigations, coverage analysis, liability determinations, and resolution strategies
- Negotiate high-value bodily injury claims, including pre-litigation and litigated settlements
- Oversee and collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy and case direction
- Handle tendering and acceptance of tenders, including risk transfer evaluation
- Maintain accurate reserves and documentation in accordance with best practices and client expectations
- Deliver high-level service to clients, including detailed reporting on claim developments
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience handling General Liability and Auto Liability claims
- Strong background in litigation management and high-exposure BI claims negotiation
- Proven experience with premises liability and complex coverage scenarios
- Experience handling habitability-related claims (mold, bedbugs, etc.) highly preferred
- Exposure to Government Entity claims is a plus
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
Licensing Requirements:
- Active adjuster licenses in multiple states required, including:
- New York
- Florida
- Texas
- Arizona
- Nevada
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses through reciprocity
- Hawaii and Alaska licenses are a plus
