Position Overview:
We’re looking for an energetic, creative, and customer-focused Retail Store Manager to lead our fun and vibrant candy store! This role is perfect for someone who loves creating memorable shopping experiences, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for sweets, retail, and team leadership. As Store Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, inspire your team, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile (and a bag full of treats).

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance
• Maintain a clean, colorful, and visually exciting store environment
• Ensure all merchandise is well-stocked, organized, and attractively displayed
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering and restocking

Team Leadership

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise store staff
• Create a fun, positive, and motivating work environment
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service

Customer Experience

• Deliver a delightful and memorable experience for every customer
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally
• Encourage upselling and product knowledge (candies, treats, gifts, etc.)
• Plan and execute in-store events, and seasonal promotions

Sales & Performance

• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for growth
• Implement creative merchandising and promotional strategies
• Manage store budget, expenses, and cash handling procedures

Product & Brand Management

• Stay knowledgeable about all products, trends, and seasonal items
• Ensure brand standards are consistently upheld
• Collaborate on new product ideas or themed displays

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies and health/safety regulations
• Maintain proper product handling and sanitation standards
• Oversee loss prevention and store security

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for customer service and creating fun experiences
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math and computer skills (POS systems, reporting tools)
• Management or supervisory experience preferred but willing to train the right person

Pay: $37,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
