What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeper position at Candlewood Suites?
The housekeeping attendant is responsible for the cleaning of checkout / stay over guestrooms on a daily basis. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position and requires the ability to deliver a positive customer service experience to our guests.
Duties and responsibilities of housekeeping attendant include:
- Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure
- Making beds
- Replacing dirty linens and towels
- Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses, and notepads
- Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays
- Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts
- Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs, or damage
- Upholding the hotel’s confidentiality and security standards
- Respecting “do not disturb” signs and the guest’s privacy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Projected Total Compensation: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
