Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management
- Follow proper sanitation procedures, especially in high-touch areas, to promote health and safety
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with guests or residents
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks required for cleaning duties
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeping management is advantageous but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability and punctuality are essential
