Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts using OPERA or similar hotel management software to ensure accuracy and completeness of all transactions.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor security systems, perform safety checks around the property, and follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to maintain accurate records for management review.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing information as needed.
- Support hotel management by assisting with administrative tasks such as billing reconciliation, reservation verification, and updating guest information.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong understanding of hotel procedures.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Familiarity with night audit processes and hotel management systems like OPERA is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond confidently in urgent situations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during overnight shifts.
- Previous resort experience or working in a hospitality environment that emphasizes guest relations is a plus.
