We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and structural systems throughout the hotel.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for building automation systems to optimize facility performance.
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during repairs or upgrades, ensuring quality work and safety compliance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs.
- Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through completion while adhering to safety standards and budget constraints.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff repair requests with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed schematics and technical documentation for all systems and equipment.
- Oversee residential painting projects and oversee general upkeep of the hotel’s interior and exterior spaces.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting with an eye for detail.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and building automation systems.
- Excellent supervisory skills with leadership experience in managing maintenance teams or contractors.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow safety protocols diligently.
