Job Title: Development Coordinator Status: Full Time Exempt

Job Summary: The Development Coordinator supports fundraising efforts and annual events. This position is an integral part of the CSCMT team and is responsible for coordination and implementation of fundraising events. The Development Coordinator assists in auction item acquisition, works directly with the community to deliver third-party fundraisers, and is an ambassador in the community, building relationships to further the CSCMT mission. Successful candidates must be committed to Cancer Support Community’s Montana’s mission and excited about its growth and potential.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
- Implements third-party fundraisers by coordinating logistics, building relationships with interested parties to meet budget fundraising goals with third-party fundraisers.
- Organizes October Campaigns (Pink Montana, PNKBZN, PNKMSO, PNKHLN), Giving Days (Give Big, Missoula Gives, Greater Helena Gives) by coordinating logistics and social media to meet budget fundraising goals.
- Provide coordination on statewide fundraising efforts as instructed.
- Coordinating, developing and implementing third-party events and cause marketing campaigns.
- Collaborates with development team during annual fundraising events to implement event logistics, including finalizing layout and placement of various features of events.
- Secures auction items and raffles for special events.
- Assists with donor appreciation and Taste of Community events.
- Social media and email marketing for third-party events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health or related field or related experience.
- Advanced experience using all Microsoft Office software.
- Successful experience working in a similar position with focus on planning and coordinating events and operations.
- Excellent planning, attention to detail, budget management and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in website design and ability to edit.
- Experience in donor database and fundraising platform management.
Necessary Special Requirement
- Must have reliable transportation to carry out duties and responsibilities of the role.
- Travel to other centers and to educational opportunities as needed or required.
- Position requires the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Requires regular attendance and reports to work fit for duty in a professional environment.
- No public expression of personal political views by support or action, so donors and participants do not perceive personal views represent CSCMT organization.
- Must comply with all conditions of HR Manual.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
