Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and maintain all Behavioral Health employee files.
- Review and maintain the training/certification/licensure log for all Behavioral Health employees to ensure all required trainings and renewals are completed and filed within required timeframes.
- Maintain a working knowledge of program expectations for record documentation, as well as facility and program policies.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all staff members.
- Provide a pleasant and welcoming attitude toward community members seeking assistance in person or by phone.
- Meet with supervisor weekly to discuss current and future work duties.
- Maintain program logs as specified by the supervisor.
- Schedule all assessment and intake appointments and keep the supervisor updated on this process.
- Assist referral sources with making referrals to outpatient and residential treatment programs and review referrals with the supervisor.
- Update and maintain referral logs for all treatment programs.
- Notify all appropriate staff of upcoming assessment and intake appointments via email.
- Perform receptionist duties for Behavioral Health and other programs as specified by the supervisor.
- Complete monthly client follow-ups and maintain this data in the outcomes log.
- Maintain the outcomes binder.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass background check, drug screening.
Supervisory Relationship
Reports to: Facility Quality Assurance Supervisor
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Prior Experience Required
- Experience in a position requiring flexibility in performing varied work duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer operations.
Personal Qualities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Friendly, welcoming, and helpful demeanor toward community members seeking assistance.
- Strong retention skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly.
- Willingness to ask questions and follow designated procedures as directed.
Travel and Special Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required for job-related training or Center business.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position requiring a 40-hour workweek.
Safety Sensitive Position
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive Job Classification under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (63 O.S. § 427.1 et seq., effective August 29, 2019).
Employees in this classification are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination, if they test positive for marijuana components or metabolites, even with a valid medical marijuana license.
