HVAC Maintenance Technician (M-2) – $22–$25/hr Commission

This role is built for technicians who want steady calls, hands-on growth, and a clear path to advancement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Run maintenance, diagnostic & warranty calls on residential HVAC systems (3–5 years old)
- Perform component installations sold by senior technicians
- Assist with evaporator coil, compressor & ductwork replacements
- Submit service reports & photos through ServiceTitan
- Deliver professional, high-quality customer service
You won’t be thrown to the wolves.
You’ll work within a structured team environment with leadership support.
Compensation
- $22–$25 per hour (DOE)
- OR commission — whichever is greater
- Average annual earnings: $45,000–$53,000
- Unlimited earning potential with performance

You’ll receive training in:
- Refrigeration cycle mastery
- Furnace sequence of operation
- Brazing, vacuum pulls & nitrogen pressure testing
- IAQ conversations
- Airflow & CFM diagnostics
- Water heater systems (tank & tankless)
This role prepares you for promotion to S-1 Technician.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills
- Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record
- Growth mindset & coachability
