Campbell Mechanical Services is a third-generation, family-owned mechanical contractor with a long-standing presence in the commercial and industrial HVAC market. With over 100 employees and a reputation built on consistency and quality, we support a wide range of facilities across Northern Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to support service and preventative maintenance operations.

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM β 4:00 PM
Overtime and on-call rotation as required
Position Overview
This role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC systems across a variety of facility types. The position requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner on job sites.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment
- Diagnose and repair system issues across heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and controls-related problems in the field
- Complete service work in accordance with company and union standards
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and internal teams
- Maintain job documentation and service records accurately
- Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure system reliability
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and building automation
- EPA Universal Certification
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Comfortable working at heights and in various commercial environments
- Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and union education programs
Preferred Background
- HVAC trade school or technical certification
- Journeyman status or ability to obtain
