Registered Nurse (RN) Positions at Camp North Star.
We are located on 200 beautiful acres in Poland Spring, ME. This is a residential job where you live at our camp for 2 - 7 weeks.
We are hiring nurses who can work immediately through at least July 25th.
Camp North Star, a premier co-ed traditional sleep-away camp in Southern Maine, (2 hours outside Boston) for 7 - 17 year olds. Join our team of motivated medical staff. Our state of the art Health Center is equipped with air conditioning, private rooms, bathrooms, a nurses’ lounge and Wi-Fi.
Compensation
- Competitive salary plus food, housing, laundry and use of facilities
- Reimbursement for ME nursing license transfer
- Nurses with camp-aged children are eligible for camp tuition scholarship (valued at $14,000 per child) plus a salary
Responsibilities
- Triage and treatment of campers and staff during clinic hours
- Medication administration at meals and bedtime
- Care of inpatient campers and staff
- Packaging and preparing of medication for camper trips
- Medical record management
- Conduct inventory of supplies and place orders when necessary

Many nurses travel to camp by plane. If that's you, we do allow nurses to use a camp vehicle on their time off if they have a driver's license and clean driving record.
