Camp Laurel South is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic Fishing Counselors/Instructors to join our summer team in Maine. Staff in this role teach and supervise campers during fishing activities while helping create a fun, safe, and supportive camp environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching basic to advanced fishing skills and techniques
- Supervising campers on the waterfront and during fishing trips
- Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance, and organization
- Encouraging sportsmanship, confidence, and participation
- Living in a cabin and serving as a positive role model for campers
Ideal candidates are:
- Experienced in freshwater fishing
- Comfortable working with children and teens
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic
This is a residential summer position that includes housing, meals, laundry, and a competitive salary. A great opportunity for educators, college students, coaches, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone passionate about working with kids in an outdoor setting.
This is a two month commitment June 16th - August 17th.
