Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Clear and reset tables quickly to maintain a steady flow of service during busy hours
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or ingredient setup under supervision
- Support catering and banquet events by managing dishware and ensuring timely cleanup
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal
- Handle food handling responsibilities in accordance with health regulations to ensure safety for all guests
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service operations during peak times
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is nice
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform basic food preparation and assist with catering or banquet setups
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
- Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn about culinary processes and customer service excellence
