Location: Robbinsdale, MN
Shift: 5x8, Days
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Duties
- Conduct EEG tests with precision, ensuring accurate placement of electrodes and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients throughout the procedure, documenting vital signs and any abnormal findings.
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret EEG results and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly before and after procedures.
- Educate patients about the EEG process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Assist in the diagnostic evaluation of patients in neurocritical care settings.
- Participate in continuous education to stay updated on advancements in EEG technology and techniques.
- Support the operations of a Level I Trauma Center by providing timely EEG services for emergency cases.
Requirements:
- 2 Years of EEG Experience - Required
- Surgical Monitoring for Carotid Endarterectomy - Preferred
- BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
- Pediatric to Geriatric Experience - Required
- EPIC - Required
- Previous intraoperative EEG experience - preferred
- EEG Certification - Highly Preferred
- Trauma Leve I Experience - Preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $1,346.03 - $2,321.03 per week
