Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team in Andalusia, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in both radiology and CT imaging, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work in both the X-ray and CT departments as needed.

The selected candidate must hold current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification and ARRT certifications in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). All required certifications must be submitted with the candidate's application.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Operate radiology and CT equipment safely and effectively.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and established imaging protocols.
• Verify patient identification and ensure the accuracy of imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Float between the X-ray and CT departments based on departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in both Radiology and CT imaging.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Ability and willingness to work in both the X-ray and CT departments.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an additional CT Technology Certificate Program.
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical imaging environment.

• Days: Tuesday through Friday
• Hours: 10:00 AM–8:30 PM
• Location: Andalusia, Alabama 36420
