Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory management of sterile supplies and instruments to ensure availability and compliance
- Follow strict aseptic techniques during all stages of processing to prevent contamination
- Document sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and quality control measures meticulously
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure all necessary instruments are prepared and ready for procedures
- Monitor and verify the integrity of sterilization processes using appropriate indicators and testing methods
- Assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies to maintain operational efficiency
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines at all times
- Participate in ongoing training related to anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and sterile processing best practices
Requirements:
- Must have 5 years' experience in addition to 3 years Team Lead experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS AHA
- CBSPD/HSPA
Pay: $1,560.24 - $1,650.44 per week
