Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Norwich, NY
Shift: Days | 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks (36 Hours/Week)
Required:
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Epic EMR experience.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, time management, and patient assessment skills.
Job Details:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend required.
- Assess, prioritize, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency department patients across a wide range of acuity levels.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, medication administration, IV therapy, emergency interventions, and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate timely, patient-centered emergency care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
