Seeking a Travel Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist for a 13-week contract in Rockford, Illinois.
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekends: Every third weekend
- Holidays: Rotating holiday coverage
- On-Call: Required
- Floating: Not required
3. Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis.
- Collect and process blood specimens.
- Perform phlebotomy duties as needed.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Follow laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
- Work independently while ensuring accurate and timely results.
4. Requirements
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong phlebotomy skills required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be comfortable working night shifts and rotating weekends.
5. Education
- Relevant education or training in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technology.
6. Certifications
- ASCP certification required.
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) qualifications required.
7. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a laboratory generalist.
- Strong phlebotomy and specimen collection experience.
- Ability to manage laboratory duties independently.
- Previous travel healthcare experience is welcome but not required.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week
