Position Overview
Seeking a Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Outpatient Clinic assignment.
- Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday
- Hours: 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Start Date: August 20, 2026
- Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
- No Call
- No Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Room patients and assist with assessments.
- Perform blood glucose monitoring and testing.
- Conduct telephone triage and follow-up calls.
- Label and process specimens accurately.
- Assist with Pap smears, injections, and wellness visits.
- Perform suture removal and support routine clinic procedures.
- Document patient care using Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN License.
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience.
- Experience in Internal Medicine and/or Urgent Care settings.
- Knowledge of patient admissions, telephone triage, and follow-up care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Certifications
- BLS Certification (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
- Previous charge experience.
- Women's Health experience, including Pap smear assistance.
- Experience using EKG equipment.
