What are the responsibilities and job description for the Association Maintenance Technician position at Camaloch Association?
Summary:
The Association Maintenance Technician is responsible to keep common areas, drainage ditches, roads, and facilities in good condition and looking well kept.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to operate landscaping machinery. (mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, trucks)
· Basic knowledge of landscaping.
· Ability to drive large riding mowers.
· Basic knowledge of painting techniques and procedures.
· Ability to do construction and repair to constructed buildings.
Responsibilities and Duties: (include but are not limited to)
Maintain Association Common Areas:
· Keeping drainage ditches mowed and trimmed.
· Cleaning culverts to keep drainage moving.
· Keeping Outsides of buildings and pools clean and well painted.
· Keeping common areas next to the lake maintained.
Association Member Assistance
At the direction of the main office, the Maintenance Engineer will respond to needs of homeowners.
· Reading water meters on a monthly basis
· Locating water meters for members
· Having positive interactions with association members, directing them to request for work to be done.
Fix-it Projects:
In an as-needed basis, the Handyman will be asked to do projects and maintenance on buildings, signs, fences, docks
etc. in the association neighborhood.
Landscaping of Front Entrance, Common Areas, and Pro Shop Grounds
· Weed control
· Garbage Pickup
· Landscaping of garden areas
· Blowing out leaves
· Cleaning shoe cleaning area
· Changing pro shop water filter
Maintaining Poolhouse and facility
· Pressure washing pool houses
· Handyman work around pool area
· Landscaping pool area
· Painting and upkeep of pool area
· Cleaning pool area during the off-seasons (leaves, branches etc.)
Chalet Maintenance and Preparation
· Cleaning and organizing the chalet for scheduled meetings and events
· Cleaning and restaging after meetings and events
· Making sure garbage is taken out
· Cleaning and readying BBQ for events
Custodial help when needed
Communication
· Communicating with supervisors
· Timely reports of work progress
· Reporting work that is needed through the association
· Interfacing with vendors and contractors that are doing work on behalf of members and association.
Other tasks as assigned by Office Manager
Work Environment:
· Often outdoors in cold and wet conditions.
· Work requires regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule with willingness to
work a flexible and/or rotating schedule
Physical Demands:
· Ability to work in cold and wet conditions for long periods.
· Ability to work in hot summer conditions for long periods.
· Ability to operate heavy machinery.
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform extended periods of physical labor.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
