Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outside sales efforts, including cold calling and territory management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey
- Conduct sea trials, virtual tours, and detailed presentations of yachts to prospective buyers
- Manage account portfolios and oversee all aspects of the sale, including negotiations and contract finalizations
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage client interactions, and analyze sales data for strategic planning
- Lead generation through networking events, industry conferences, and targeted marketing campaigns to expand the client base
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract high-net-worth individuals
- Facilitate inside sales activities such as follow-up calls, email outreach, and virtual consultations to nurture leads
- Manage territory sales by analyzing market trends, identifying potential clients, and executing tailored sales approaches
- Upsell additional services or premium yacht features to maximize revenue opportunities during the sales process
Skills
- Proven experience in sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the luxury or marine industry
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with sharp analysis skills for pricing strategies and deal closures
- Proficiency in CRM software for lead management and customer tracking
- Exceptional customer service skills to build trust and foster long-term client relationships
- Effective business development techniques including cold calling, direct sales, and territory management
- Knowledge of marketing principles relevant to luxury goods or marine vessels to support promotional efforts
- Ability to deliver compelling product demos and conduct engaging product presentations
- Skilled in upselling premium options while maintaining client satisfaction
