This opportunity is for experienced U.S.-licensed Lawyers interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role involves applying legal expertise to evaluate, review, and improve legal content that helps train next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required. Your legal expertise, analytical reasoning, and drafting skills are the primary qualifications for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a broad range of U.S. legal topics.
- Perform in-depth legal research using statutes, regulations, case law, and other authoritative sources.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including memoranda, legal opinions, contracts, and related materials.
- Evaluate legal content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to legal best practices.
- Provide structured feedback to improve the quality and reasoning of AI-generated legal content.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex legal scenarios and content evaluation projects.
- Apply rigorous quality assurance standards to identify legal inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and ambiguities.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in the United States.
- Strong professional experience in legal analysis, legal research, and legal drafting.
- Experience preparing or reviewing legal memoranda, opinions, contracts, pleadings, or other legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to legal accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong collaboration and analytical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a top-tier U.S. law firm, corporate legal department, or government legal organization.
- Exposure to multiple practice areas and complex legal matters.
- Experience reviewing legal content, developing quality standards, or evaluating legal work products.
- Familiarity with rubric-based evaluation, legal quality assurance, or AI-assisted legal workflows.
