- This position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed designated on the Classification Specifications (link available in the minimum requirements section). - The CHP utilizes their own Public Safety Dispatcher certification list. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for the Public Safety Dispatcher classification to be eligible to take the examination.
