The Enterprise Services Development Section within the Application Development team of FTB is seeking a Java Developer with hands-on experience in Java, API, Micro-services, and Jakarta EE technologies, including JSP, Primefaces, MVC, and Java Beans. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, SOAP/REST, XML/JSON, and modern application servers. Proficiency across IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ coupled with a mastery of databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, is essential. Familiarity with GIT, DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash, and Docker is also a preferred. In addition to the above technical skills, a successful candidate in this role will possess robust leadership capabilities, a collaborative spirit, and a knack for adaptability. A track record of providing mentorship and coaching experience to guide and nurture junior team members will be a bonus.   • Hands-on experience in Java, API, Microservices, and Jakarta EE technologies, including JSP, Primefaces, MVC, and Java Beans

  • Proficient experience across IDEs like Eclipse and Visual Studio, coupled with a mastery of databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, is essential
  • Familiarity with GITDevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash, and Docker is also a requirement.
  • Experience in working within an SDLC environment to design, develop, deploy and troubleshoot code
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders from Analysis, Test, Business and Infrastructure team
  • Experience in leading junior team members
  • Experience developing, debugging and troubleshooting software compile, build, and release errors
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully and lead in a team environment while demonstrating initiative, integrity, ownership, and accountability
