The California Department of Social Services' Office of Equity is recruiting one (1) Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) - Specialist to help further evolve the Race and Equity Central Operations Section through the new strategic Race and Equity Technical Assistance and Training (RETAT) Unit. If you are looking for an opportunity to bring your GARE/CCORE strong analytical, strategic, action-oriented race, equity, diversity, and inclusion knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to help further assess and address historic systemic racism, then the Office of Equity has a position for you. This position will provide individuals an opportunity to make an impact on further identifying and implementing action-oriented plans to address programmatic systemic issues that have caused historic disparities for many of California's marginalized, under-served, and underrepresented populations. This position is a statewide recruitment that can be filled in all 58 counties. The incumbent will be headquartered in the county nearest their residence.
