About this Role:
The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Analyst investigates discrimination complaints within DHCS and among contracted agencies. The Analyst also serves as the Department’s Reasonable Accommodation (RA) and Religious Accommodation (RE) Coordinator, providing timely guidance and technical assistance to DHCS staff and the public. The position analyzes complex, confidential RA/RE requests and works closely with the Procurement and Contracting Division throughout the contract and procurement process. Duties include managing OCR agreements, reviewing and preparing invoices, and tracking contract and purchase-order expenditures.
Additional responsibilities may include coordinating bilingual services, assisting with the annual Workforce Analysis (WFA), supporting the Upward Mobility Program (UMP), serving as OCR’s liaison for executive drills, and acting as a backup liaison to the Disability Advisory Committee (DAC). Statewide travel may be required.

Telework
This position is currently eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in person a minimum of two days per week.
