California Coast Escrow is an INDEPENDENT full-service escrow company serving the entire state of California. If you are an Escrow Officer or Senior Assistant, you know the steps required to close a transaction and will only need to come up to speed on our specific systems and processes.
As an Escrow Officer on our team, you will be working with the best software in the industry while being supported by teams with decades of experience working together. You will have the pride and known quality that comes with being a key player for an independent escrow company. Actual compensation will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of a closing: Receive and review all new contracts, prepare estimated closing statements for buyer and seller, prepare file for signing, monitor the closing, audit escrow file.
- A level customer service skills.
- Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing.
- Prepare and submit closed loan package, deposits and disbursement documentation, recording package, final policy package and/or commission package to appropriate department or entities.
- Prepare Settlement Statements and other required miscellaneous documents.
- Actively seek new business.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a Junior Escrow Officer \ Senior Assistant.
- Strong computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under pressure.
- Ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month. A high degree of integrity, self-motivation, organization, and a strong aptitude for figures.
- Must be extremely detail oriented.
- Will require approval from the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
