About the Role
As a Senior Industrial Automation Specialist, you will serve as a technical authority, driving the operational excellence and reliability of complex production systems. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing machine performance, mentoring technical staff, and executing large-scale equipment overhauls to ensure peak facility output.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to identify mechanical wear and optimize machine center performance.
- Perform advanced root cause analysis to implement corrective measures that minimize downtime and enhance system longevity.
- Lead and collaborate within specialized teams to execute annual machine rebuilds and major equipment overhauls.
- Provide expert technical guidance to plant maintenance teams to resolve complex production challenges.
- Develop and deliver hands-on training modules to elevate the technical proficiency of engineering personnel.
- Assess and validate the skill levels of technical staff through structured evaluations and on-the-job coaching.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of facility maintenance and long-term process improvements.
Required Skills
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial automation or a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of 2 years in project management or team leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on complex production machinery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio) for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to travel up to 75% to support various facility locations.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance or automation roles.
