About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency. You will play a critical role in diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high-speed production systems to meet our output goals.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using technical schematics.
- Execute repairs on production machinery, including conveyors, fillers, labelers, and palletizers, to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and equipment modifications to optimize performance and longevity.
- Maintain industrial control systems and troubleshoot complex automation components like VFDs, servo drives, and PLCs.
- Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair outcomes to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions for recurring technical challenges.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards, ensuring all machine operations and maintenance procedures comply with protocols.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar technical field.
- Proven ability to interpret complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools, shop equipment, and standard power tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train team members and resolve interdepartmental issues.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
- 6 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing, packaging, or plastics processing environments.
- Advanced technical expertise in PLC troubleshooting, servo controllers, and industrial communication networks.
- Experience with specialized equipment such as rotary fillers, blow molders, or HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in fabrication techniques, including welding and machining.
