Position Description
We have been retained by a boutique-style and family owned CPA firm in the awesome and non-stop city of Miami Fl. we are searching for a skilled senior tax associate with 3-4 years of tax prep and review experience.This is a firm that truly values work life balance, puts employees first, and doesn't work wild hours like some firms. The partners are looking for an senior tax associate that can be on a fast track to promotion soon, and that handle a variety of tax prep and review for a variety of local area businesses.

We don't partner with firms that you may have personally experienced as having a high stress, 75 hour a week schedule and do not have a clear promotion path for both pay and management level.
Pay and Background:
- Pay: $110,000- $140,000 (could be more, commensurate with experience)
- Prep and review tax returns for various entities, businesses, high net worth individuals, pass through entities, C-Corps, S-Corps, and Partnerships.
- Enter this information into a variety of prep software programs like CCH, Pro System, and Ultra Tax
- Ensure all business tax returns are filed in accordance with Firm guidelines as well as ensuring federal regulations are met
- Work with the IRS at times for resolutions needed
- Work well with the partners for any special cases
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, stats, business administration or related field (Masters in Tax or Accounting also a plus if you are pushing for partner or manager level)
- CPA eligible, or have CPA license currently, or CPA in progress is ideal, EA is also a plus. or working to obtain the EA
- 3-4 years of solid tax prep and review experience in a local accounting environment, Big firm, regional firm, or equivalent accounting firm doing daily tax prep and review work on multiple entities and VIP clients
- Very proficient with various tax software programs
- Understanding of tax laws and ability to be in a fast paced tax environment to get work done efficiently

- Hours capped in busy season unlike a lot of firms where you may work 70-80 hours a week
- Pay: $110,000- $140,000
