Position Description
A top accounting, tax, and advisory firm has partnered with our team to find a high quality Tax Manager in the Jersey City area.This firm is about 60 employees, and works with local and regional business clients as well as high profile personal clients for a variety of tax and advisory needs.

Position Summary and Duties:
-Work independently and with the management staff to work with an assigned group of clients across multiple industries
-Advise clients on multiple tax issues, planning, research and compliance
-Prep and review tax returns for multiple entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts
-Work with key clients for business advisory and tax decisions
-Supervise and train junior tax personnel
-Help when needed for local business events networking and fostering relationships
Role Qualifications:
- 5 years of tax prep and review experience with various entities
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent)
- Masters in tax or accounting preferred
- CPA is not required but highly appreciated OR CPA eligible or a EA with same level of experience
- High level of tax skills, organization, and analytical skills
Pay and benefits:
- $125,000-$160,000 salary annually, commensurate with experience
