Summer Feeding Assistant
Hourly Rate of pay: $12.00 minimum
Summer Feeding Assistant is responsible for the production and assembly of summer school meals and the distribution of the meals to boys and girls under the age of 18 throughout the community.

Summer Feeding Assistant is responsible for the production and assembly of summer school meals and the distribution of the meals to boys and girls under the age of 18 throughout the community.
- Hours are Monday - Thursday; 8:00 am - 1:00pm but can vary based on needs
- Reports to School Nutrition Manager and/or School Nutrition Director
- Assists in production and assembly of meals to be distributed to children
- Delivers meals throughout community using personal car and/or school bus
- Assists with dating and putting away delivery of food items weighing 50 pounds or less into proper storage space as assigned.
- Assists with daily cleaning schedule as assigned. Ensures workspace is clean and sanitized each day.
- Must follow workplace safety procedures including the use of safety and personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical demand requirements are more than those for Light Work. Must be able to stand for hours. Must be able to bend, twist, lift, stoop, reach overhead to perform assigned tasks.
