Basecamp Assistant
Our Basecamp Assistants serve as the primary customer service point of contact for our business. From phones and emails to in-person interactions at our check-in tents and café, Basecamp Assistants provide excellent hospitality and help ensure a seamless experience from start to finish for our guests.
Responsibilities include welcoming and checking in customers, answering phones and emails, managing booking reservations, keeping equipment organized, and maintaining a clean and inviting basecamp environment. This role also includes preparing and serving food and beverages from our café, handling transactions, and ensuring guests have a great experience both on the water and at basecamp. This position may occasionally involve kayaking with tours to capture photos or be a helping hand to our kayak guides when needed.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates are highly organized and possess strong communication and customer service skills. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively multitask, and prioritize responsibilities throughout the day. Candidates should have a positive attitude, be teachable, and work well as part of a team. Must be comfortable with phone communication, sending emails, engaging with customers in person, and serving food and drinks in a café setting.
