Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in settings such as nightclubs, hotels, or banquet facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of bar stations for events or busy shifts.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle food items safely and adhere to food handling guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests as needed.
• Support kitchen staff during peak hours by delivering orders and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred; experience in a nightclub or hotel setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed within the bar or kitchen areas.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
