This position will serve Jefferson City school district.
- Behavior Support Providers will provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents primarily in the school setting.
- This provider may be responsible for developing and implementing a service plan to address symptoms, behaviors, emotions and assist in eliminating barriers in personal and educational environments.
- This provider will also coordinate and conduct activities that increase a client’s capacity to positively impact their environment.
- This provider will assist with behavior deescalation and crisis management.
- This provider may also work in the home with families on an as needed basis.
- Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field OR three years' experience in mental health.
- Behavior modification training.
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and/or with developmental disabilities.
