School Behavior Support Provider

This position will serve Jefferson City school district.

• Behavior Support Providers will provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents primarily in the school setting.
• This provider may be responsible for developing and implementing a service plan to address symptoms, behaviors, emotions and assist in eliminating barriers in personal and educational environments.
• This provider will also coordinate and conduct activities that increase a client’s capacity to positively impact their environment.
• This provider will assist with behavior deescalation and crisis management.
• This provider may also work in the home with families on an as needed basis.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field OR three years' experience in mental health.
• Behavior modification training.
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and/or with developmental disabilities.
