General Superintendent - Grading / Paving

Summary:

The General Superintendent oversees daily grading and paving operations, leading a crew of 10-15 while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role works closely with management to plan work, coordinate resources, and address field challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate grading and paving crews
• Ensure quality, safety, and productivity on all job sites
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budget control
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Oversee materials, equipment, and maintenance
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
• Adapt to weather and schedule changes as needed
  
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in grading and paving supervision
• Strong knowledge of paving operations, compaction, and rolling patterns
• Valid driver's license (clean driving record)
• Able to travel and work flexible hours as required
• Must pass drug testing
