Job Description:
The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic team as an Application Engineer and be at the forefront of transforming our system security evaluation and authorization process. We are shifting from a manual approach to a cutting-edge model that leverages automation, streamlined processes, continuous monitoring, and comprehensive network data gathering throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and expertise in one or more of the following:
Developing, maintaining, and executing Python Lambda, Pig, and PySpark analytics.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django or Flask.
Implement microservices architecture to enhance application scalability and performance.
Containerize applications using Docker to ensure seamless deployment and consistency across environments.
Review data ingest tickets and collaborate with team members on merge requests.
Ensure the delivery of reliable and accurate data to end users.
Support successful day-to-day operations, including investigating data accuracy within the system.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Proficiency in Python.
Strong background in one or more of the following:
Analytics development.
Proficiency in using Docker for containerization.
Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs
Experience with Django or Flask frameworks.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture
All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category, and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
High school Diploma/GED with a minimum of 12 years of experience
Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
Doctorate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Desired:
Experience in patch management and IAVA tracking.
Knowledge of Lambda, Java, Scala, NiFi, and Ansible.
Experience working in an Agile or SAFe environment.
