Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
- Prepare construction sites and keep tidy
- Dig trenches, mix concrete, and perform basic carpentry tasks under supervision
- Operate basic power tools and machinery safely following all safety protocols
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on site
- Support the installation of structural components such as framing, drywall, or flooring
- Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and an understanding of OSHA standards (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus but training will be provided
