Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to support various construction activities such as framing, roofing, and masonry work.
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling, including moving supplies, equipment, and debris around the job site.
- Support tile laying, flooring installation, and other finishing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and restoration tasks.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of various trades including carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (blockwork), plastering, caulking, metal stud framing, roofing, and masonry work.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials or equipment.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Commitment to safety procedures and ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
