We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom and standard cabinetry in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring precision, quality, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinetry according to specifications.
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of cabinets.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, fastening, and finishing cabinetry components.
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry, molding, and hardware such as handles and hinges to complete the cabinetry setup.
- Perform surface preparation tasks including caulking, plastering, stucco work, or tile masonry as needed for seamless integration.
- Conduct quality inspections during installation to verify adherence to blueprints, building codes, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, electricians, plumbers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry roles within construction or remodeling projects.
- Familiarity with construction management principles and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with construction inspection techniques to ensure quality control.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, fixture installation, and building material handling is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam software for reviewing plans or technical documentation is a plus.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and following detailed construction plans accurately.
- Experience with tile laying, flooring installation, framing carpentry, restoration work, or gutter installation is advantageous.
- Ability to operate ladders safely and handle various hand tools and power tools confidently.
