We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinets and related fixtures
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other hand tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for cutting, fastening, and finishing cabinet components
- Follow blueprint specifications to install cabinetry, trim carpentry, fixtures, and hardware with attention to detail
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as plastering, caulking, or stucco application as needed before installation
- Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure adherence to safety standards and project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities effectively
- Utilize construction management software like Bluebeam for documentation, marking up plans, and tracking progress
- Assist with remodeling projects by removing old cabinetry or fixtures and preparing surfaces for new installations
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry roles within construction sites or remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment
- Skilled in measuring dimensions precisely using tape measures and other measuring devices
- Experience working with building materials such as tile masonry components, drywall, stucco, or flooring is a plus
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, fixture installation, gutter installation, and restoration work is advantageous
- Ability to read technical drawings related to cabinetry layout and framing carpentry projects
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
