Cabildo Staffing is hiring Temporary Custodial Event Staff to assist with graduations, concerts, and other events during October and November at the LSUNO Arena (formerly the University of New Orleans) on Franklin Avenue in New Orleans, LA.
This is an as-needed, temporary position ideal for candidates with previous custodial or janitorial experience who are available to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings.
Job Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain arena seating areas and stands before, during, and after events.
Clean and sanitize restrooms.
Collect, remove, and dispose of trash throughout the facility.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas and other assigned spaces.
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Assist with general cleanup to help keep the facility clean and presentable for guests.
Requirements:
Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as needed.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts based on event schedules.
Schedule:
Temporary, as-needed event assignments during October and November. Will be needed on 10/21, 10/26, 10/27, 10/30, 10/31, 11/07, 11/20, 11/21
Shifts range from approximately 4–8 hours per event.
Day and night shifts available.
Weekday and weekend availability required, depending on event schedules.
Location: LSUNO Arena, Franklin Avenue, New Orleans, LA
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
