Position Overview
C12 is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Governance & Legal Operations Associate to support our growing corporate platform and portfolio of Loren properties. Reporting to the Head of Business Infrastructure, this role combines corporate governance, legal operations, and administrative oversight.
You will serve as a key point of contact for ensuring timely execution of legal documentation, managing governance processes, overseeing corporate filings, and maintaining a secure, structured system for document storage.

Responsibilities
Legal documentation support
- Support in execution of legal documentation
- Maintain and improve legal documentation storage and organization systems
- Develop and maintain property-specific signatory guidelines and contract review thresholds.
- Develop and maintain a repository of outside counsel for specific matters, track outside counsel usage
Governance support
- Schedule and set agendas for internal committee meetings.
- Record accurate meeting minutes and circulate resolutions and follow-up items.
- Maintain a secure, version-controlled repository of board minutes, resolutions, and governance documents.
- Develop consistent standards and processes for governance documentation
Compliance
- Develop and maintain a centralized calendar of all corporate filings, expirations, and entity registrations; support in renewals as needed
- Develop and maintain a process to ensure workplace compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification or legal training preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in a corporate paralegal or legal operations role
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, contract management, and compliance processes.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting real estate, hospitality, or private investment organizations a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000-$125,000 performance bonus
