Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder / installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication stairs and railings with the ability to read blueprints and adhere to industry codes and standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience working with various tools and equipment in a construction site environment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize plasma cutting techniques for precise material shaping.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely on the construction site.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during the fabrication process.
Experience
- Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG, and stick welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication tools.
- Experience in blueprint reading and understanding of construction codes and standards.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately.
