Requirements For This Steel Welder Job
To be successful in the role of Steel Welder at Kinsley Steel, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications.
- A successful candidate must be able to pass a 3G weld test with 1/16th flux core wire and have applicable experience with D1.1 codes and 2G/3G experience.
- 3 years experience operating overhead cranes.
- Have a willingness to learn.
- Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
- Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed..
- 1st and 2nd shift positions available. For those working on 2nd shift, a $3.00 per hour differential is added to the base pay.
